SecurTrac named a finalist in the Best Messaging and Collaboration Solution Category.
New release responds to market demand with the User Activity Monitor and other enhancements.
LOTUSPHERE 2008, ORLANDO, Fla. – Extracomm Inc., a leader in providing add-on solutions that streamline and secure the IBM Lotus Notes and Domino environment, was recently named a finalist in the Best Messaging and Collaboration Solution Category for the 2008 IBM Lotus Awards for their auditing and compliance tool, SecurTrac™.
The most recent release, SecurTrac 2.3, continues to meet the needs of the Lotus community with new features and enhancements that respond directly to user feedback, market trends and the latest compliance regulations.
“The latest enhancements and new features stem directly from the work we’ve done with our current clients. We’ve responded to the need of the Lotus Notes and Domino community and implemented their requests for more granular monitoring and detailed reporting,” says Alex Chan, Senior Product Manager, Extracomm.
Most notable is the new User Activity Monitor which tracks activities such as Database Open and Close, View Open, Document Open, Update, Create and Delete, providing businesses with a more detailed and accurate audit trail. In addition, SecurTrac™ 2.3 is able to log and monitor database agent activities on a Lotus Domino server as part of the Database Monitor. Notable enhancements include customizable e-mail alert notifications, the option to log detected events to a remote SecurTrac™ server and from the SecurTrac log, administrators can rollback deleted or modified documents or design elements to the previous version that is stored in the SecurTrac log document.
